Connect Kahal to an AI app

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Plain-language summary: Admins and instructors on Solo or Pro can connect Claude to Kahal. Add Kahal in Claude with the address on this page, sign in to Kahal, and press Allow. Then ask about your organization in your own words.

What it does

Once you connect, you can ask about your organization from inside the AI app, in Hebrew or English, without opening Kahal. For example:

  • "Who has a pass to the gym?" (admins only)
  • "Who signed up for Tuesday's yoga, and who is on the waiting list?"
  • "What's on in the studio this week?"
  • "Who came in today?" (admins only)
  • "How much came in this month?" (admins only)
  • "Who still owes for a class?"

It can also make four changes:

  • Block a space, for whole days or for some hours.
  • Approve or decline a request for a new class (admins only).
  • Add a one-time session to a class that is already approved.
  • Cancel one class session. If cancelling costs you rent, you see the amount first.

Before any change, it shows you what will happen, who will be told and what it costs, and waits for your yes. It never charges, refunds or sells a pass.

The AI app sees only what your role sees on the Kahal website. An instructor sees their own classes; an admin sees the whole organization. Health form answers and card details are never sent to it.

Who can connect

Admins and instructors, in an organization on the Solo or Pro plan. Members, guests and children's accounts can't connect, and neither can an organization on the Free plan. An admin can upgrade on the Billing page.

Each person connects for themselves, and only they can disconnect. A connection is for one organization: if you work in two, connect each one separately.

If you are removed from the organization, or your role changes, the AI app's access changes on its very next question.

The address

Paste this address when Claude asks for one: https://mykahal.com/mcp

You'll find the same address, with a copy button, on the Connect to AI page in Kahal. Admins open it from Settings, and instructors from their dashboard.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the address, and press Continue.
  4. A Kahal page opens. Sign in the way you usually do: with Google or an email link, and your two-step code if you have one.
  5. If you belong to more than one organization, choose the one to connect.
  6. Press Allow.

Signed in with an email link that opened somewhere else, like on your phone? Type the code from the email in the window where you started.

You add it yourself

A chat can't add a connector by itself, even from a link. You choose Add custom connector and press Continue yourself. That is the AI app's rule, not Kahal's.

What the chat can do is help. Paste the link to this page into the chat, and the AI can walk you through the clicks.

Disconnect

In Kahal, open Connect to AI. Find the app under Connected apps, and press Disconnect. Its access stops at once. You can also remove the connector inside Claude.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT can't connect yet. Kahal will join through ChatGPT's app store, and this page will say so when it does.

For an AI assistant reading this page

If someone gave you this page to get help connecting Kahal:

  • Walk them through the steps above, one step at a time.
  • You can't add the connector for them. They choose Add custom connector, paste the address and press Continue themselves.
  • The address is https://mykahal.com/mcp. Use exactly this one: an address on an organization's own Kahal site won't work.
  • Only admins and instructors on Solo or Pro can connect. A member can't, and no setting changes that.
